Help With Understanding Strange Website Hits (1 post)

Hey, all. Today I noticed some really strange hits to my website. It's from a bunch of different IPs and a lot of hits -- about 5 a minute earlier today. My stats program indicates the page each hit is attempting to access looks something like this:

    http://blogingenuity.com/tag/authorphp/%20http://owned-nets.blogspot.com/2009/04/crim-net.html/?_CLICK_ON_MY_GOOGLE_ADS___FUCK_YOU_GREEDY_FUCKERS___FEED_ME_YOUR_MONEY_FUCKERS___

(Apologies if that language is not appropriate here. I wanted to provide the true URL in case it would help to visit it.)

You can see it's a bunch of stuff appended to the URL of one of my tag URLs. Most of the requested pages look like this, something appended to one of my real URLs, and owned-nets.blogspot.com address. These pages don't seem to actually exist -- I've checked and I get a 404 error.

Can anyone give me a good idea of what this is, if I should be alarmed, and a good strategy to prevent it? I'm pretty green when it comes to potentially malicious attacks on my site, and this might be such?

    Thanks.

P.S. - Whatever it is appears to be spoofing the browser, as my stats program indicates all kinds of different browsers for hits, including "Googlebot".
