Help!!! with Theme

Hello,

I bought a premium theme but couldn’t get the functions of it to work at all. I contacted the author several times to no prevail but no reply. His theme consisted of a one page layout with four tabs that all lead to anywhere on the same page. I spoke to my very helpful server host about the situation and they tried the theme as well to get the fuctions to work on it but it wouldn’t work right no matter what any of us did. So I gave up on the theme and uploaded a free theme called orange coffee.

So my question is: (free theme installed)

1. Is there a way to uploaded the logo from the paid theme i had to the free orange coffee theme from wordpress. Steps I’ve done was to delete the orange coffee logo and upload the paid theme logo file to server. It didn’t show on the website so I put the original logo file back. Second, I tried to edit the orange theme logo in photoshop just by typing in my own title but the letters only wrote over the logo.

3. What do I need to edit in the theme files to let the paid logo show on my site.

2. Can I be sued for using the logo from the paid theme I bought and if not how do i get the paid logo to be seen after uploading the file to my server.
3. Am I asking to much of wordpress. Is it possible to change the logo in wordpress plus add other things such as an ebook, paypal button, add more pics. I would really like to use wordpress because It would be a great asset to be able to upload articles to my site. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
