Help with page area (4 posts)

    Hello.

I'm trying to edit my page.php so that my page content will take up the whole area of the page. I removed the sidebar from my pages but it seems the sidebar area is still being used. I would also like to delete the comments, catgory, date, user ID and page title.

Here's an example of one of my pages:

I'm slowly learning php but want to get some direction before I go in and start breaking stuff. Thank you for your help.

Here is my page.php (my applogies for the jumbled paste):

    [long code moderated]

Don't post long code here - it is difficult to read. Use a pastebin service like http://wordpress.pastebin.ca and post back the url.

Sorry about that. Here is my page.php

    http://wordpress.pastebin.ca/837876

I was able to remove everything, however I still cannot get my page area centered. It seems like the page still thinks the sidebar area is being taken.

The best example of this is at

    http://shlinklincolnsports.com/schedule

I've centered the schedule table but it is still left aligned. Notice on some of my other pages that the table is not compressed.
    (i.e. http/shlinklincolnsports.com/draft)

How can I set the page area to take up 100%?

    Thanks

You may have taken out the sidebar but the content area is still defined as a certain width in the style sheet. That will also have to be adjusted.

Precisely why I mentioned XAMPP in another thread. Experiment all you like without breaking your live blog. :)
