This is my first time ever actually making a them for n e kind of php program. Also i have never messed with xhtml, xml, rss, or php even. So i really just kind of guessed what i was doing, using a tutorial i found on a site, and got cracking. So far from what i can tell its going good. But one of the problems, is that with the extra links u add on the sidebar, i had to just do those using manual html instead of the php handling them, cause i dont know how to get rid of the list item stuff out of the php. I also dont know how to get a few other things working. I really wanna get this theme going good, and release it. I love the way it looks

http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags will explain the link tags you use in the sidebar (as well as all the other tags).

http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/How_to_Pass_Tag_Parameters explains how to set the parameters for the tags so you can get rid of the <li> tags, etc.

http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes has lots of things you'll find useful.

As far as the feedread, you need to get rid of the "feed:" which is a future protocol not supported by Firefox or Internet Explorer. Once you do that, it will work fine.

And be sure to validate your code. You have 213 errors:

"And be sure to validate your code. You have 213 errors:"....

and an image map that still hadn't loaded in 23.5 secs (yes, I'm on dialup - can't help it - wish I had an option that wasn't over $150 a month, but I don't....)

The rest of the page isn't bad, validation will help, but the image map needs to go.... as an overall "look", I like it - the orange jazzes up the greys very nicely.

i dont know what else to do other than the images. And i know about the errors. My page is no where near correct. And as for those guides, they help for those who still have a basic grasp of what there doing. I was looking maybe in hiring someone to help.
