Please help me find some code--I'm using a theme that doesn't allow me to see the stylesheet, and I've been editing using firebug, but for some reason I can't find this one element, and the people who created the theme refuse to help. Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrgggghhh--ugly!!!!

The site is maiameravholtzman.com, and what I would like to do is remove the green underline that appears when I hover over the main menu items (while keeping the font hover color).

Also, if you're in the mood, I'm interested in trying out a drop-down menu that displays horizontally rather than vertically. Currently, since I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it, there is a dropdown in color FFFFFF under the word "Bespoke" but it cuts into the images when I use it with the submenu items on the bespoke page (rings, earrings, necklaces, men's) as I would like ideally, so I created a sub-page (another Bespoke) and that's the only item currently on the hidden menu. Yes--I'm living in a Kafkian menu world. If it can't display horizontally, does anyone know how to get rid of it entirely?

    Thanks you so much!

For anyone to help, you will need to post a link to your site.

I don't really understand what you mean by

I'm using a theme that doesn't allow me to see the stylesheet,

If you have access to the server, you can open the stylesheet. If the theme is dynamically generating the css, use specificity to override what you need to.

There are 2 properties that can create underlines: text-decoration: and border-bottom:. Using borders isn't very common, but possible.

There could be a number of things interacting with your dropdown menu, like javascript. Find out what method is being used before spending too much time hacking it.

With regards to theme support, if the theme was free, I wouldn't expect much support without paying for it. You got a free design for you website. If you paid for the theme, there should be a forum or some kind of support available. That said, if you are trying to completely change the way the theme works, don't expect a ton of help. You would be better off using something closer to what you need, or starting from scratch.

Oops. The link to my site is maiameravholtzman.com. And for some reason, I CAN'T see the stylesheet, even when dynamic styling is turned off. I asked the developers of the theme about it: they seemed not to be surprised and told me to use an FTP client, which I've never learned and don't have time to get into.

Yes, I paid for it, and there is no forum, only a few really simple and obvious tips, hence this post--the theme is called Photocrati. It's not my first time doing this, but it is my first time struggling with it.

I'm not sure how removing an underline or changing the orientation of a drop-down menu is "completely changing how the theme works", but thanks for your feedback.
