    I just upgraded and now I have a white screen with this error message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_rtl() in /home/content/d/a/r/darenvarner/html/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 2102

    Please help. I don't know much about how to fix this. And please keep it simple as I am a novice.

    You can just commented the line 2102 and 2103 in the general-template.php file. It worked for me.

    This is a temporary solution.

    Thanks

    Same problem here.
    I now cannot log in to admin area and I get this message:
    l error: Call to undefined function is_rtl() in /home/ssrad/courses.sexyspirits.com/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 2102

    SwakyKant, what exactly was your temporary solution and what did you do??

    I had the same problem and it was caused by popup domination plugin. Just rename the folder trough ftp and your done...

    If you're using Popup Domination plugin, just go rename it inside your wp-content/plugins/ folder and then try. I'm not sure if their latest version of the plugin already fixes this hiccup, but if you're on an older version, then this may be the cause of the error.

    @darrvar Using ftp you can replace any core file or folder except for wp-content folder as this is user folder where all your theme,plugins,uploads are saved.

    Just ran into the same error message after upgrading to 3.3, but I don't use PopUp Domination. Plugin called Login Lock was the culprit, changing its name using FTP resolved the problem

    Thanx Claritynow! That was the culprit on one of my blogs too... renamed it and got in no problems... deleted the plugin and will look for something different... I don't use PopUp either... too many problems with that one...

    Thanx again... =}
