Help with drop down menu css needed

Hi all,

I’ve added a drop down menu on my wordpress site via admin->apperance->menu.

it works fine how it is, but I can’t get the styling the way that i want it. I’m only learning html and css so not really sure what i’m looking for.

I am in the process of building a website and i use the wordpress site for news, so i’m trying to get the styling to match the site thats under development.

The news site aka wordpress site is under the news tab or http://www.stmichaels31stbelfast.co.uk/wp/

I’ve been trying for a few days now and this is the closest I can get.

If i use the code from my original site then things go haywire and I can’t get the drop down working.

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.
