Hi everyone -
I am pretty new to wordpress, but know the basics I guess. I can't figure out though how create a theme similar to that of http://www.psdtuts.com. Basically, I just want a theme that will make a thumbnail, have if float left, and have the title and summary to the right of it. Maybe someone can explain the process of making a post using this format? For example, I want him to be able to just create a post and add photos into it and have them automatically that size and in that format. Does that make sense? I know I sound like a total novice, but it seems difficult. Maybe I am overcomplicating it. Does anyone know of any basic themes with this layout?

Sorry, I can't help you, but I do want to JOIN you!
I am also looking for a way to layout postings like you suggested: image left, post title and content to the right of it. I have a site where it is like that: http://www.bootjesgek.nl; I would like to transform that site into a WordPress site (see http://www.bootjesgek.com).
I looked into Themes and CSS but did not find the solution there.
So where do we sind a solution? It must exist as I did find another example: http://www.wordpresstheme.nl/

Not much help here; but I found my way:
The type of layout we were looking for, is usualy described as a 'Magazine' type of theme. Some free Magazine type of themes I found are:
Blogstarter; Blue Module Mag; Module Mag; Simple Scheme mag; VioletLeanMagazine; all by WPthemedisigner.com.
Business Magazine (has a nice Carousel too); JS Paper; Mimbo; My Studio by Kathie & Andrew; Schemertype Mag by Chiq Montes; Silvery by Ronal KSY; WP_010 by WP-Spider.
