Help with Announcements Plugin

HI,

Extremely non-technical user of wordpress, basically fumbling my way around and doing the best I can – please help.

I’ve downloaded a plugin called Announcements Ticker (Version 0.3, by fonglh) It’s currently working on my website on the homepage – http://www.linastores.co.uk

Three Questions:

1) Is there any way to make the text in the announcements linkable to other pages / posts etc (I’ve tried just putting links in on the text and that doesn’t seem to work)

2) How can I make the announcements box sit higher in the space? There’s too much white space between the menu and the announcements box

3) Would it be possible, using this plugin, to have different announcements boxes on different pages, or do you have to have the same one wherever you put the short code?

I’ve never edited the code of a plugin / theme so ideally I’d rather not do that, but if it’s straightforward I’m very happy to try.
