help with 3 columns

    hi – a bit new to this and trying to see if what I’ve got in mind is possible…

    I envisage a 3-column site, with no sidebars. Each column will represent a category, so that when I post information it will automatically know which column to appear in. This sounds so simple but I can’t find any templates to act as a starting point. Does anyone know if this is possible, or has anyone seen this done before? Thanks
