Hi there,
The site/page in question is http://www.coscarestaurant.com/menu/
I am putting this together for my friend who owns the restaurant. He had tried to use the Builder theme previously and had made his own menu page which had special plugins.
I went in there and deleted those pages, the plugins and the Builder theme and put Thesis in there.
But for some reason, whenever I make a page called "menu" the page breaks. Every other page is fine.
It would be nice to have a page called menu in the permalink. Can anyone tell me what happened and how to correct this?
Thanks.
Ron

Most likely it's because the page "menu" is still in the trash and therefore you can't make a new page called "menu". It's naming it menu-2. Permanently delete the trashed pages and then you'll be able to create a new page called "menu".

No, I made sure they were deleted from the trash already. I suspect it's some remnant from the old theme, but that doesn't make sense as I've deleted everything from it.
There's no way to clean the database?
Are you using the same template for menu page that you using for other pages

Found the solution, or rather, someone in the Thesis forum told me:
"A page named "menu" will get a custom body class of "menu" which is probably an issue as the navigation menus also get this class. If you can get away with naming the page "Our Menu" or anything else that is not just "menu" in terms of the body class assigned, that should resolve the problem. "
I tested it in another site, he's right. Case solved.
