Why, when you click "add new" post/page, is the visual mode collapsed so that you can't edit in visual mode? I never had this problem before today. How may I fix this? Please help!

Posted 2 years ago #I upgraded to 2.8 and now visual mode is the same as html mode. all the WYSIWYG/tinymc (or what ever its called) editor buttons all gone. I checked to make sure it wasn't a plugin issue and it doesn't seem to be.

Posted 2 years ago #same problem here. the visual made was gone ever since i upgraded to 2.8. i make my posts using the wordpress dashboard that's why this is a big deal to me. is this being fixed? in the meantime, any suggestion on how to revert to the n-1 version?

Posted 2 years ago #Any progress on this? I've deactivated/reactivated plugins in troubleshooting this. It does seem to be 2.8.
