Hi, I just signed up with Cyberwurx on one of their blog plans and it downloaded WP automatically but now all I have is a green/white template page with My Weblog. I registered and then logged in but it would only let me change my profile info. I have no other options. Just "profile", "view site" and "logout" and at the bottom I can update profile. I do not see the Admin panel where I can post and change templates, etc. I know just bare basic html and I have built one site in Dreamweaver a few years ago but I am sooooo confused. Help please.

  2. It sounds you got a completely messed up installation of WordPress, and probably an out-dated version too. Is there any chance that you could start over and do the installation yourself?

The website host provided version 1.2. I visited the link codex.wordpress.org and I followed the directions to upgrade and after I downloaded the wordpress folder to my cpanel, I could not get anything to work. When I go to my domain, it gives me a list of my index and my folders. I click on the WordPress folder and it says :"There doesn't seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started. Need more help? We got it. You can create a wp-config.php file through a web interface, but this doesn't work for all server setups. The safest way is to manually create the file." Pursuant to the instructions for upgrading, I deleted all of the 1.2 files except the wp-config.php. Can someone please walk me through this or should I call my website host? Thanks.
