I want to put a bunch of links at the top of one of my pages and have it linked to content on that same page....

For example:
I want to put descriptions of a cast and crew on a page.... I want all of their names at the top of the page, with descriptions of each person further down the page. When you click on a persons name, it bring you down the page and stops at their name. How do you set these marks on the page...?

I know i have seen it done with a number (#) symbol in the link, but I do not know how to do it.

Thanks!

Thank you sir. Here is the info I got from the site:

Create the hook for where you want to go when the main link is clicked on: Title Of The Page
Give your link a name (here it is called top) and give it a title.
Create the link that will be clicked on. This link tells the browser where to go: Back To The Top
Use the same name as used in the hook and give it a title (here the title is Back To The Top).
