Ive been banging my head agains the desk for days and cant get a post to allow a checkbox for form input. I know those tags are disabled by default, but i have tried every plugin I could find and updating the kses.php $allowedtags would help either.
Will version 3 allow this, or better management of custom HTML tags?
if not, how can this be done in 2.9.2?

Which tab are you using? I've never had any problems when using the HTML tab.
