Hello - I'm trying to add a horizontal menu that includes main sections of my site. I have read through all of the documentation and cannot find a simple explanation of how to do this. I'm trying to create horizontal menus as follows:

    Home | Projects | Research | Play | Contact

I'd like each main section's link to appear as follows:

http://www.mydomain.com/sandbox/ > defaults to "Home" section
http://www.mydomain.com/sandbox/projects > links to the "Projects" section
http://www.mydomain.com/sandbox/research > links ot the "Research" section
http://www.mydomain.com/sandbox/play > links to the "Play" section
http://www.mydomain.com/sandbox/contact > links to the "Contact" section

This is as far as I was able to get:
    http://teeji.com/sandbox/

It is unclear if I need to create catagories or pages for these sections and I can't figure out how to link them to the horizontal menu. Please help!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yours looks like the "Blix" theme, and if that's the case, they should be pages, not categories. There's no linking required, the theme automatically pulls the links to pages and formats them nicely for you. If you've messed with the theme code, it may be easier to just install the theme again.
