• Hey all, I’m in a bit of a panic here. Yesterday I made 2 posts on my blog at http://www.Breigh.com and I asked my husband to check them out. In the morning after the first one there was no problem. Later in the evening when he tried to check my most recent post, he told me he got a popup from his virus scanner that there is a trojan on my site.

I asked around and another friend told me he got a Psyme-| Trojan warning.

I upgraded to 2.3 to see if that made a difference and it didn’t. I really am not that technical so I have trouble figuring these things out. My husband helped me install wordpress and helps maintain it but he also is at a loss as to why this is happening.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks!

  • Looked in Firefox 2.0 and IE 6 and 7 and no mention of any popups or trojans from here.

Can you provide any more details? Is this happening on a particular page for instance?

My husband is still in bed but when he wakes up I’ll ask him for a screenshot of the popup. I asked him last night to check if it was just my main blog page or if it happened everywhere on my site and he said it doesn’t matter what page he tries, he still gets the popup.

Hrmm ok I deleted a load of stuff off my site, like old themes, forums and plugins that I wasn’t using and when my husband got up he said the popup was gone. I’m not sure where the problem was but it looks like I got rid of it somehow.
