   Trying to get my 1st site up using tweaker3 template and I do not want any comments or posting section on my pages. How can I do that without going into any 'code'. I appreciate any help please

   You can disable commenting in your Settings. Just log into your dashboard, then go to Settings, then to Discussion.

   Uncheck all the boxes in the "Default article settings" area.

   You can also edit this per individual page/post to allow/disallow commenting. This option is in the Discussion area when editing your post/page.

   Thanks for your reply. I followed the instructions but post section still shows up on every page except one.. Can't find the ability to allow/disallow commenting on each page. Dashboard/Settings seems to be global though. Maybe being a newbie is just way beyond me.....

   In the dashboard, edit your post/page then click the little "Screen Options" tab at the top, in the upper-right corner. Make sure the Discussion option is checked.

   Then look for the Discussion area on your page. It is there that you will have the option to check the option to allow/disallow comments.

   Thanks for your patience and guidance. Used "quick edit" option on each page and found that 'allow comments' was checked there on all but one. Unchecked, updated and reviewed. Looking good for the beginner...now all I have to do is remove this "By admin on April 3, 2011 | Edit

   on each page and start loading content so we can 'go live'. Really appreciate you stepping up to help the aging newbie. Things seemed easier back in the Assembler Language days. :-)
