Help Sider Images Not Centered (5 posts)

    Hello,

I'm having a little trouble with the plugin. I removed the padding between my slider images and the border, but there is a gap on the left side between the border and my images. Prior to removing the padding my images still wouldn't center in the slider. My images are sized 1040x400 as are the slider settings. I'm using the prose theme. I'm at ctkfcc.com

Thanks in advance for the help. Great plugin!

Also should mention that my arrows for the slider sit outside of the frame so you only see part of them.

  3. Centering the images is css based. You can add that to the custom code part of your theme.

I really can't be specific without looking at the site.

Hi, chellesand! I am working on slider issues too and came across your request.

For the arrows, the quick fix is to remove them! Not a perfect solution but it might keeps things tidy until other issues are worked out.

Go to the slider settings page and uncheck the box next to Display Next / Previous Arrows in Slider?. You also might want to check the box next to Display Pagination in Slider? which will give you another way to access the slides directly vs. using the arrows. Again, I know this is just a bandaid for the problem but I hope its a start.

Not sure about the image centering yet but if i come across anything I will update!

    Cheers,

  5. The images will not appear centered if they are narrower than the area you are using the widget.

You could center the slider in the widget area itself.
