Help setting up pages? Need them to list category posts (7 posts)

    Hey so I got my wordpress site working and flowing mostly smoothly.

    Site= http://www.kinetic-sound.com

    I've got plugins, images, a growing number of posts but I can't seem to figure out how to have posts show up on my other pages.

    The way I want it set up is if a post is categorized "Autos and Reviews" it shows up on the Autos+Reviews page. While I set the category, it still won't show the post on the page. I'm not entirely sure what I did wrong during set up.

    I looked through the forums and I still can't figure out. I don't know a lick of .php coding or anything, so it looks foreign and just doesn't help out.

    Could anyone walk me through or show me a step-by-step guide for this?

    I'm not quite sure what you're asking. If you assign a post to a category, it will show on the category archive page: http://kinetic-sound.com/category/autos-reviews/ Any posts in that category will be listed on that page.

    Right, but I want them to show up on this page:

    You should read about custom page templates. You can setup a custom page template, and use query_post to query only posts from a certain category.

    Though I have to ask, what's wrong with the other page?

    Nothing, I just want to be able to have them linked in the navigation bar up top. It's not linked anywhere.

    You should check out wp_nav_menu which lets you integrate the new menu management in WordPress 3.0. This will allow you to create a mixture of pages/categories in your navigation, saving the trouble of having to create custom pages.

    How would I go about setting all that up?
