Help required with plugin

This is probably (hopefully) a simple request.

I am developing Schema for WordPress and it is inserting the schema just fine, but in the Visual editor it looks messy with all the SfWP images to show where the code is. The images are useful when marking up the code but I want an option to “switch them off”.

I’m think something simple like a radio button or check box on the Schema for WordPress settings page that prompts “Display SfWP images in Visual Editor?” Then, in the display, it would check this variable and supress the image. Of course the underlying code should stay in the page or post so that it renders properly.

Can anyone help?
