• My website has been down for about a month. It’s been so flippin frustrating to say the least. I was attacked by malware and although I have most of it cleaned up, I have one link on my blog I don’t know how to get rid of it.

I’m not a techy so I need help removing this one link that I have been told is the problem. This is what someone told me:

Inside your blog folder, there should be an index file.Download that file and save as to your computer. Then, open it and right click and “view source”Once you see all the code in the “view source” search for the word “script” until you see this code:

    Then you delete the code
    <script src=http://commoditiestips.co.in/menus/index.php ></script>

Please make sure you only delete this line of code. After you delete that, save as and upload again to your hosting. That’s it.

Problem is that I have no idea what to open the file in. If I double click it, the file opens up in Dreamweaver and I’m not seeing that code. Can someone please help me? I could ditch the whole blog and start over, but I don’t know how to save my content. I get an email with a blog database file, but I’ve been told now that’s not enough.

    thank you in advance.
