• Hello

My blog was running on my Mac (OS X) when my hard drive died. I was forced to reload my whole system on a newly purchased hard drive. My old boot drive would mount and I was able to get stuff off of it. I retrieved the entire directory /Library/MySQL which contains all the MySQL data that was on the machine. I changed all permissions so I could look through it. I can see all of my posts in and amongst these files (in the wordpress directory off the MySQL directory), but they are quite dirty (when looked at with a text editor). Anyone know how I can retrieve the text of my entries? I;m actually not going to run my blog locally anymore (to save electricity actually, I figured it was cheaper to pay for DotMac and let my computer sleep).

    Thanks!
