53rdcardI am about to design a website for my nephews school and they want a blog style interface, what they are wanting is a system where they can have about 8-10 people with there own passwords that can log in and change things on there own pages, blog style, specifically these will be teachers and faculty who will be adding lessons and other events around the school on a day to day basis, but also want the security of knowing that only they or at least anyone with there username and password can change the information on there pages.
It does not need to be able to accept reader comments or anything like that, they are basically just wanting something that the teachers can log into over the internet and update the specific pages they handle, and to anyone looking at it they will just read it like a normal web page.
I think from what I have seen wordpress is a software I can use for this, I have found that it can have authors set up and each have there own pages and logins, but before I start to really work on it I thought I would ask people who are much more familiar with it then I am what there opinion is.
