• so i installed php, mysql and apache on my home pc(windows). i installed them seperately no at the same time in a package. i finished the installation of wordpress then when i logged in it only showed up the contents of wp-admin folder, as if i’m just viewing then on an ftp style:

    Index of/wordpress/wp-admin

    Parent directory
    blahblah1.php
    blahblah2.php
    blahblah3.php
    blahblah4.php
    etc.

and whenever i visit the folder of my wordpress on my browser it also shows in an ftp style, i have to click inden.php before my blog will show up.

how can i fix this? i don’t know maybe there is other things i have to configure on my server?

  • So you run your wordpress on your localhost (pc)? Try adding a “/” (slash) at the end of wp-admin.

    nothing changed….T_T

hmm, i guess you should run /wordpress/wp-admin/index.php then. Im sorry if i couldnt help that much. I only uses my pc as the localhost a very long time ago, the time of my first wordpress ever, and i already forgot about it. So why not test it on free hosting sites? So you could practice it there.
