DNS propogation issue

    Hi all,

    Yesterday, I registered a new domain ‘lesousvide.com’ on Godaddy but unable to install WordPress on it. Then Godaddy’s Support Team advised me adding the new domain as Primary Domain. I have other 2 domains including their subdomains registered and hosted on Godaddy.

    Origin setup
    ============
    reynoldstocks.com (Primary Domain) [/blog ]
    pubco.reynoldstocks.com (Subdomain) [/pubco ]
    cnpubco.reynoldstocks.com (Subdomain) [/cnpubco ]
    sousvide.reynoldstocks.com (Subdomain) [/sousvide ]
    radio.reynoldstocks.com (Subdomain) [/radio ]
    wiki.reynoldstocks.com (Subdomain) [/wiki ]

    satimis.com (another domain)
    subdomains
    etc.

    After changing the Primary Domain my nightmare began. There is no problem on satimis.com and its subdomains

    But new subdomains of lesousvide were created automatically:
    pubco.lesousvide.com
    cnpubco.lesousvide.com
    sousvide.lesousvide.com
    radio.lesousvide.com
    wiki.lesousvide.com

    Browsing them same as;
    pubco.reynoldstocks.com
    cnpubco.reynoldstocks.com
    sousvide.reynoldstocks.com
    radio.reynoldstocks.com
    wiki.reynoldstocks.com

    Browsing lesousvide.com same as reynoldstocks.com

    Please help how to fix the problem. I don’t need the new subdomain created automatically.

    Further:
    I expect to change the URL sousvide.reynoldstocks.com as lesousvide.com
    and delete the former (subdomain)

    It can take up to 72 hours for domain name changes to fully propagate.

    The new domain is now working including their subdomain.

    “Working” and “fully propagated” are not the same thing. Try waiting for a few days.

    Hi all,

    After 72 hours the situation remains almost the same.

    Both URL – reynoldstock.com and lesousvide.com visit the same website and can login with the same password. However after login, the URL of latter changes to “http://reynoldstocks.com/wp-admin/”

    Similar situation occurs when I browse other pages of lesousvide.com. The URL changes to “http://reynoldstocks.com/derivatives/” for example.

    pubco.reynoldstocks.com and pubco.lesousvide.com

    cnpubco.reynoldstocks.com and cnpubco.lesousvide.com

    sousvide.reynoldstocks.com and sousvide.lesousvide.com
    …
    etc.

    All having the same situation. The only difference is the URL of latter remains unchanged “http://sousvide.lesousvide.com/wp-admin/” after login. Same as visiting other pages the URL remains pointing to lesousvide.com

    I don’t need the subdomains of lesousvide.com. And I expect changing the URL sousvide.reynoldstocks.com to lesousvide.com

    Please help. All tickets/emails sent to Godaddy previously received silent response. They suggested me changing the Primary Domain from the beginning. I have asked them whether there is a way rolling back but without a reply received. I have been searching hard on Internet without result.
