• In MT, there are two different fields for the introduction and rest of each post, so you can easily put anything between these two in template. How can we do it in WP? I mean we want to have a seperator text in single post pages where the <!more> is. Any idea?

  • Use Excerpt for your intro and the rest in the post field. Ensure you are “Advanced Editing Mode” when you are in the Write Post page.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it’s not possible! I’m using Excerpt for some other thing.
In fact I’m using WP for a website a little more than a simple weblog.

if I write an article, I’m using the ‘excerpt’ field
and so I can use both in the single.php.

    the excerpt and the content
and so I can design both.

    hope it helps.
    kindly regards
    Monika
