Help on editing wordpress CSS (5 posts)

    I want to make the content on the right and my sidebar on the left like the image AFTER. Help me in editing the wordpress CSS. I'm using the default template for wordpress.

    Evilskyboy,

    is that the "unchanged" default WordPress theme? Then just re-upload the files in wp-content/themes/ (I do not have 2.9 but I think you made some changes; you will loose them when uploading)

    Suggestion:
    In wp-content/themes make a new directory called mytheme/ and copy all the files in default/ to that one. Then only work on the files in mytheme/

    Next, for Firefox get the addon Firebug. It's a great help for viewing the css of your site. You can click on any section and the relevant css shows and you can alter it (but not save it, so it's a good testdrive).

    Pretty easy using floats to do it.

    float:left;

    float:right;

    etc

    look for img.alignright and all those, that come in the default theme

    that should help.
