   I use wp 3.5.1 and use [blog] to display top 5 blogs within my page.

   I am now using [blog featured_image="true"] just show the big image on top of the post title.

   I want to display a thumbnail of "featured image" on the left side of the post-topic .

   How can i set the attriutes for [blog] shortcode?

   [blog] is not a generic WordPress shortcode;

   does this come with your theme, and what theme are you using?
   or is this from a plugin, and what plugin are you using?

   Thanks alchymyth. It is a 3rd party theme from an independent developer.

   So is any shourtcode i can insert into page which show latest posts with featured image on the left side?

   first choice would be to try and contact that developer for support.

   there might be 'posts in page' plugins or similar which support thumbnails;
   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=posts+in+page+shortcode

   example from search results:
   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/posts-for-page/

   you need to search the plugins ...
