Hello, I'm totally new to wordpress and I wanted to ask is it possible to make it look like: http://www.issuu.com ?
The main thing i want to do is to make a sidebar at the right of the webpage, and on the left a list of various e-books, and when you click on one of those e-books, to show a little bit of it's details, size and download button.

Possible - Yes.
But unless you want to specify EXACTLY what you want to do, the best I can say is http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ has a list of plugins, and you should try googling for 'Wordpress plugin <terms>'.

As you see, there's a simple library, and video gallery that's all that I'm trying to find, but I'm still not lucky.
(Videos won't be from youtube, they'll be on the main server as well) -
Thats ... a pretty normal theme, actually.
You can use Custom Post Types to handle a video gallery (or a category, same idea). Try Vipers Video Plugin to PLAY the vids, but nothing there really needs a plugin save that.
It's just theme stuff.
