I logged into my website today to find that my theme (which i changed recently) was back to the old one and old posts were appearing as though i had just posted them. A friend linked to one of my recent posts--i clicked the link and it says the post doesn't exist.
For the life of me I don't think I did anything wrong, please suggest how i can retrieve all of my lost data. This is important to me since It was part of a portfolio which i was submitting to universities.
Thanks,
Adam

Do you have a recent database backup? If not, have you contacted your host to ask if they have a backup copy of your database?

No I haven't, the host is GoDaddy, I'll email them now.

I had a website lost all my posts too. Hoster was also GoDaddy. They're asking for a $150 restore fee. How did you get on with this - anyone else had problems with GoDaddy losing all their data?
