• Hi all,

I set up a wordpress blog ( http://adayonearth.org) where many people will use the same user account to blog.

I’d like to lock (of freeze) the user profile so that no one can change the common user account ( somebody already changed the profile during a test period to redirect to its own home page 🙁 )

I found a plugin called “Freeze users” that lock the password, but I’d need to lock other fields too ( mail, homepage, ….)

    Thanks for your help

As a matter of fact I edited the user-edit.php file and commented out all code showing the fields I do not want users to change.

as a matter of fact, I edited profile.php too ( duplicate code in profile.php and user-edit.php)
