   I had WordPress as my home page on my website. I accidentally over-wrote the index.html file on my word press home page with the index.html file from a different website and now I don't know how to get back to my word press site.

   How do I fix this?

   WordPress uses an index.php file. Download the zip file from the link on the top right corner of this page and use FTP to put the index.php file back.

   Delete the index.html file. If you have both the index.php and index.html file your site will default to using the index.html file. Or you could just rename that file by taking out the period or changing it to a dash.
