   I downloaded WordPress and its not in a zipped file. I can't upload it!! What can I do???

   Where did you download it from? LOL! Because WordPress is always in a .zip file... make sure you've got the latest version from http://wordpress.org.

   No it isnt.

   the filename latest.zip is in a zip file. wordpress is available in a tar.gz archive as well.

   Oop- you're right. Anyway- it's always available in compressed form. I should have phrased that better- the main download button always goes straight to a .zip. Make sure that's the version you're downloading. Thanks for the correction, whooami!
