    Hi there.
This is my first blog obviously.
I'm trying to make child pages. Example:
    > pages
    > edit (or add)
    > attributes (to change the page child, etc) ... and
it's not there. No hovering shows it up, no panic clicking,
    ... nothing.

    What do you think?

    Cheers
    Tracey

You make a Page a child Page by specifying a Parent when writing/editing the child Page.

Thank you for your reply MichaelH
Yes, I understand that. However when I have the page open to be edited, ... I look down the right hand side at my 'attributes' so I can hover over the drop down to change it to 'whatever I want to child it to' .... and it's not there. The actual drop down menu for allocating the page as a child to another is not there.
    Thanks Tracey

Of course, I must ask, you do have other pages? Don't scream ;)

For some reason on my test blog I have that field, but no pulldown arrow, but I was able to just click on the box and it pulled down to show other pages.

    Thanks for replying MichaelH.
Yes I do have other pages (x5) and I now wish to turn one of them into a child page.
Can I just clarify something ....
    I am in 'Edit page'.
I'm on the right hand side under 'Attributes', and under that is
    Parent, Template, and Order.

If I am in the right place. I can't do what you have done. I have clicked all over the place. :)

That's the right place. And you can't click on the box for Parent (mine says "Main Page (no parent) in that field) and if I click on the field (box) it pulls down the list of other Pages.

Hmm. What happens if you change to another theme, then change back?

    Hi MichaelH
I scrapped everything and started again.
    Guess what? .... It Worked!!!!!!!
    (happy, happy, joy, joy, joy)

    Thank you!

Can I ask you another quick question?
I am using the iBlog theme and at the top (after the blog name), when I look the address up on IE, there is 'Just another WordPress weblog'.
How do I get rid of that sentence?

    Cheers

    Happy Tracey :)

@Pond3, go to your Dashboard, than go to Settings - General Settings and fill in 'Tagline' (that's the second line from top to bottom) what you want to appear removing Just another WordPress weblog'

    good luck,
