Try replacing your wp-admin folder files. You can download a new copy at http://wordpress.org/download/. Make sure all files are overwritten/replaced.

Thank you- I will try doing that and will update this thread later with the results.
Good catch! I mainly looked at @aots second post without realizing .com/ isn’t even a WordPress website.

Thank you for your help. I no longer seem to be able to login via that route and it seems to have lost all of its usual formatting? I have replaced everyhting in the wp-admin folder files but to no avail.

I’m not quite sure – I think its something I can change via the Settings tab in the dashboard but I am unable to get to it anymore. Any help greatly appreciated.
Using ftp or by logging in to your hosted account and using the file manager they provide, check the placement of the folders. Under the blog folder there should be a wp-content, a wp-admin and a wp-includes folder.
If that is where they are, use http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL to change the site address and site url to
