I am having a serious problem that I'm hoping someone can help out with. My hosting account was erased and required a full recovery. This means I ended up with all my old file for wordpress in my old folders (settings are all screwed up, but that's for another time) and a backup of my SQL database.

The database seems to have all my old posts, comments, tags, etc., in it, but I can't seem to restore it correctly. It took me a while to even figure out how to get the right setting on the wp-config file, but I think I've done that now.

The first time WP accessed the DB, it found nothing and asked for a clean install. Now I have no posts ot comments or anything, but my admin page works.

Does anyone have a clue about how I would possible repopulate all the WP tables in the SQL DB with my old posts and everything else?!?!?!

    PLEASE HELP!!!!

Well its look quite difficult to recover the data but there is one option, why not you try MySQL Recovery tools as they repair and recover the corrupted & damaged database.
