   Hi
   I have uploaded a fishing theme which i like, but i want to edit the header. I am very new to this, so noddy instructions would be great. If you look at my site - http://worldoffishing.org/ on the left hand side of the header there is an oval with the words Fishing Charters, i want to change that to say World of Fishing. If anyone could tell me how to do that i would be very grateful. Many thanks in advance

   The header uses this image here:

   http://worldoffishing.org/wp-content/themes/green-dawn-theme/images/green/header.png

   You'll have to make a new one using Photoshop and replace the one on your server with this new one.

   How do i do that, can i upload this image into photoshop and then edit it? sorry if thats a stupid question

   Yes, you click on the link above, save it to your desktop.

   Open it in Photoshop, make your changes, save it for the web -- USE the same name (header.png)

   Open up your FTP connection and replace the image in the folder

   http://worldoffishing.org/wp-content/themes/green-dawn-theme/images/green/

   Then refresh your browser.

   Last question christine, do i have to use photoshop or is there a free alterantive i can use? thanks for all your help

   EDIT- took too long to answer :-)

   The oval with the words Fishing Charters is part of an image background for the header area. http://worldoffishing.org/wp-content/themes/green-dawn-theme/images/green/header.png

   Open up Photoshop or image editor and change text and save as header.png and upload to server.

   Hi Again,
   Im still struggling to work out how to change it, i have installed Paint.NET which is a photo editer, so my question is, does anyone have experience using paint.net and could advise me how to change the text in the oval on the left of the header. I want to change the words from Fishing Charters, to World of Fishing. The link to the header below:

   I know the question has been answered above and that i need to edit it, but don't know how to edit the image. Any help would be great.
