    Hello all.

I recently changed the installation directory of my wordpress site.

    Old install dir: http://www.eastsidecpr.com/w-p/

    New install dir: http://www.eastsidecpr.com

Since doing so my links to other pages within the site and some images are not working.

I followed these instructions when I did the move: http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress

    Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!

    Check steps 10 and 11 in Moving_WordPress.

I ran the Velvet Blues tool already. It said it changed 0 links, so I figured I was good to go.

I could not find my .htaccess file in FileZilla. I thought it may be hidden, so turned off the option that would hide it, but still no luck.

Are you using the default permalink structure?

    Negative. Using "Post name".

Then you will have a WordPress .htaccess file. It should be in the root WordPress folder.

Nope. I do not have any file called ".htaccess" in the root directory.

Well it will have been in the original WordPress folder on your site. Try switching back to the default permalink structure & see if that works.

I looked in the backup of my old directory and no luck. Also I have tried going back to defualt and that didn't fix the issue either.

I can only suggest that move everything back to its original sub-folder. The 404 that you are seeing is not coming from WordPress, so I can only guess that something has gone very wrong with the site move. Once you get the site working back at its original location, see Giving WordPress Its Own Directory. for a far easier way of achieving that you have been trying to do.

The site is trying to pull images from the old directly. Make sure you change both of the URLs in Settings>General. That should correct the problem.
