    So - I've tried searching around, but I haven't found the exact answer I'm looking for.

    I have a twenty eleven child theme and I'm trying to get one single column page to be white and not black * here's the link - Smart Energy Boston

    I found the code

    .page-id-25 {
        background-color: #FFF;
    }

    but that changes that specific pages background color and not the content area.

    Any help would really be appreciated

    Try:
    #post-25 .entry-content {background-color: #ffffff !important;}

    What syntax is used to change the background on a single page?

    I've tried:

    #page-64 .entry-content {background-color: #EBFFEF !important;}

    but it isnt working...

    Any help greatly appreciated!

    @jimmymcg - it's theme/site specific - please start a new thread and post a link to your site.
