I was messing around with my site where I have optimize press installed as a theme.
I accidentally updated wordpress and now I can't log back into my site to make anymore changes.
I get an error message here's exactly what it says below.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_rtl() in /home/alphajam/public_html/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 2102
I can't long into my site and I want access. I would greatly appreciate it if someone can point me in the right direction of getting this problem solved.
have you read the troubleshooting 3.3 master list: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/troubleshooting-wordpress-33-master-list
try:
- resetting the plugins folder by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
- re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder from a fresh download of WordPress. by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. (manual upgrade)

Have the same issue here with this fatal error message:
l error: Call to undefined function is_rtl() in /home/ssrad/courses.sexyspirits.com/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 2102
seems best to not even mess with this upgrade if I have to do other actions to fix the bugs. your suggestion?
Maybe this: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-on-upgrade-4?replies=49
De-activate the "pop up domination" plugin if you have it
