I've just tried to log into the wp-admin part of my site and its not recognising my username as valid. It was fine a few days ago, I definately have the right log-in details (still have the confirmation email from setting up and have checked that) but even in the 'forgotton password' bit it isnt recognising my username or email as being associated with an account. What else can I try?

hmm, have just tried that and its still saying its an invalid username. Looking at the database, I was using the right details as well.

have also done the obvious things like clearing the cache, switching off the computer and restarting, still no joy

Using PhpMyadmin. Or ask your hosts for assistance.

I've got the host helpdesk looking into it at the moment, if they don't get anywhere I'll try that. thanks
