Help! Back up hangs at 10%

I’ve been trying to do a back up of my company’s site and the process hangs at 10%, at “Backing up table “wp_comments”…”.

I’ve tried the ’email’ and the ‘save file’ options; both hangs at the 10% mark.

Somebody please help!
