I just uploaded 2.6 to my GoDaddy server. However, now my website is white, and I no longer have a log-in page. I'm a rookie, so if someone could give me a 1-2-3, I would be eternally thankful.

Have you just uploaded the wordpress? if so you should see install steps. You have to rename wp-config.php.sample to wp-config.php as the first step

I can't even begin by finding which folder the wp-config.php.sample file is. Yikes, am I in over my head.

GoDaddy has a one click install for wordpress - might look into that.

the wp-config-sample.php is in the root of the /wordpress folder you extracted from the zip

Thanks, Samboll. Working at it now. Big learning curve for a rookie, of course.
