   I added a text box in the widget. It is not displaying the information in the text box.

   Now it is displaying the theme sub-footer in the widget instead of at the bottom of the page. I do not have any information in the theme sub-footer on the heatmap options page.

   The heatmap company does not offer support unless you pay $70 for an upgrade.

   If I reinstall the theme will I lose all the information I have there so far?

   Have you edited the theme's php files? That is the only information that you would lose if you reinstalled the theme. Your posts, pages, comments, categories, etc. are stored in the database, not the theme.

   It sort of sounds like you have broken markup though. If you remove the text widget you made do things return to normal?

   Also, do you have an url?

   No, I didn't edit the theme's php file. New website, totally unfamiliar with editing php files.

   I removed the text widget. The footer is still in, or under, the widget. The link from the text box is visible as well as the footer.

   I have four website. The last two have the problem. I was going to put text in the widget and the problem occured. I did this with the first two without a problem.
