Headline alignment…?

I am trying to put my title on the left side of my header.

This worked, but now the title is kissing the left edge! I want to move it just slightly more to the right. How do I do this? I am not computer savvy by any measure….i practically button mash my way through the WP codes!

Here’s, by the way, how i moved my title to the left…

font-size: 4em;
text-align: left;
}

.description {
font-size: 1.2em;
text-align: center;
}

This is, of course, all being done on the default theme.
