   I am trying to get the image on dev.fflic.org in line with the search bar .

   Any pointers?

   I'd also like to add social networking buttons or a logo in the blank space above the search bar and to the left of the image once I solve this problem, should that go under search bar or header categories?

   The image has been put there with vslider plug-in. (can't get the rotation going, but that is another post/search/day :))

   Try reducing the font-size to 1.8em in:

   #header .logo h1 {
   font-family:Arial,verdana,Helvetica,sans-serif;
   font-size:2.1em;
   }

   in style.css.
