Hi dogluvver.
Which theme are you using? Is it twenty eleven?
What is the exact link that you clicked on to take out the header images?
If you’re just getting started with your blog, have you thought about removing and reinstalling the theme you’re using?
Yes, I am using twenthy eleven.
Not sure of the exact link but under the Appearance, Header link there is currently Display Text with a Yes/No option. There was a similar line with something like Display Picture Yes/No.
I would prefer not to reinstall as I have done a lot of work setting up the various defaults that I want – BUT if I have to I will.

Hi Brian, I think I got this one figured out for you.
In the “Appearance” – “Header” section, you clicked the button that said, “Remove Header Image”
To get the images back, what you need to do is:
1. go to your “Appearance” – “Header” section again
2. Next to “Default Images” select the “Random: Show a different image…” option
3. Click “Save Changes”
Let us know if this helps or not
Brad,
Thanks – worked like a charm. On the subject of header pictures, is there any way to get rid of a custom header picture that I uploaded? Decided that it was not appropriate – I am using th random feature.
Brian
Hi dogluvver. You can find the image you uploaded within the “Media” link in the left of your WordPress dashboard. From there, put your mouse over the image thumbnail and you’ll then see a “Delete permanently” link.
