    I've just downloaded a new theme and my header image is mainly obscured by a white box - could anyone tell me what I need to do to remove this box?

    in style.css, try and add height:70px; to:

    a#logo {background:url(https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-SA0iEfwYj7o/ThmR_32bPhI/AAAAAAAADBo/UkSBZpNAzHU/s400/HeaderApril2011-v3.jpg); width:200px; float:left; display:inline-block; text-indent:-9999px;}
