[resolved] Header may not contain more than a single header, new line detected (10 posts)

I am receiving this warning in the back and front ends of my WordPress install: "Warning: Header may not contain more than a single header, new line detected. in /home/aperture/public_html/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 2443".

I deactivated all plugins, yet this warning still appears, so I don't believe it is aplugin issue.

I have tried repairing, optimizing the database, deleted, cleaned up the root directory, but nothing works. I never modify the core code.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Try re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

I did as you suggested, but no improvement --- I ended up performing another clean install and then found out one of the plugins "GTranslate" was throwing the error --- I have contacted the developer with this issue.

Thanks for your assistance --- so far, so good!

The error warning is back!!! Even with all plugins deactivated, the error reappears when creating a page, whether they are published or draft. The error appears in every theme I have from the WordPress site, or other parties.

Only after removing the pages from the menu, and even deleting them, the warning disappeared.

    I am way confused!

Have you compared your copy of wp-includes/link-template.php with a copy from a fresh download of WordPress?

I re-reviewed the plugins I have been using and found 2 were compatible with Wp 3.0.5 and 3.1.4 --- they worked before, but not now.
I deactivated them, and the site is running smoothly.

    Again, thanks for your assistance.
